Our students need you!
With 20% more, your support will help fill long-unmet needs for our children at Thrasher Elementary, Nolan Elementary and Signal Mountain Middle/ High School!
Together we are strong!
Like all of you, MEF has been impacted by this pandemic, with a major loss of event revenue and declining donations. But WITH you, we are committed and resilient! If you can help fill the gap left by COVID, please make a one-time or monthly gift.
You can also spread generosity in our community when you:
- write a thank you note to a teacher
- buy a gift card or order take-out from a local business
- hug your family
- help tornado victims
In 2020, here's how you can invest in our schools:
The Impact You Make Through MEF
Dash & Bash 2020
To our wonderful MEF supporters:
To protect the health and safety of our community, in compliance with official guidelines regarding large gatherings, and in recognition of the myriad continued uncertainties at this time, we will not be able to hold Dash & Bash on April 17 as planned.
While we are disappointed, we remain hopeful and optimistic that we will be able to reschedule for a future date to hold this fantastic community event to raise funds for our much-loved schools.
We so appreciate all of our generous volunteers, sponsors, supporters, school families and staff, and wish you all the best of health and safety during this unprecedented time. We will share further information as it becomes available.
If you already purchased DAB items or race registrations, you have the opportunity to convert that to a tax-deductible donation or you may request a refund by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
With you, we remain deeply committed to our 2500 children.

Signal Mountain is Known For Great Schools
Many families move here for that reason. The fact of fantastic education in our community is well known, but the history behind it is not. It began in 1991 and was driven by successive groups of parent and community leaders, collectively referred to as Founders.
